Who sees an order

Nobody, until they prove it. WhatsApp, SMS and email identify the customer at the channel, so orders are found from that address. Elsewhere they must give an order number and the email or phone used at checkout — the challenge your own lookup page asks. A detail that does not match answers "no order found".

Setup

  1. Shopify → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps
  2. Admin API scopes read_orders and read_customers; copy the token
  3. Install this, paste your .myshopify.com domain and the token
  4. Enable it on your Persona → Skills

Admin GraphQL 2026-07. read_orders sees 60 days, read_all_orders the rest.

Recent Orders

Lists a customer's recent Shopify orders — number, date, status and total, newest first — for a customer the channel has already identified. Use it for "what have I ordered" and "my orders"; a single order's contents and tracking come from the order lookup skill.

Check an Order

Looks up one order in Shopify and reports where it is: payment and fulfilment status, what was in it, the carrier, the tracking number and a tracking link. Returns an order only to a customer the channel identifies, or to one who gives the order number together with the email or phone used at checkout.
