Who can change details

These skills change an account, so they run on WhatsApp, SMS and email — where the message could only have come from the person holding that number or mailbox. Elsewhere they refuse and offer a human. An order number is never proof here: whoever can change an account's email can receive its password reset.

Setup

  1. Shopify → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps
  2. Admin API scopes read_customers and write_customers; copy the token
  3. Install this, paste your .myshopify.com domain and the token
  4. Enable it on your Persona → Skills

SEARCH

Shows what the store has on file for the customer — name, email, phone, default delivery address and how many orders they have placed. Answers only for a customer the channel itself identifies (WhatsApp, SMS or email).

Update Address

EXECUTE

Saves a delivery address on the customer's Shopify account — correcting the one on file, or adding a new one and making it the default. Parts that are not given are kept, so a one-line correction cannot blank the rest of the address.

Update Contact Details

EXECUTE

Updates the first name, last name, email or phone on the customer's Shopify account. Changes only the fields given, leaves the rest alone, and acts only on the account belonging to the address the channel has verified.
